Collection of Books


  1. I want to donate some books.  What should I do next?


Please put the books you want to donate in a recyclable bag and contact us to arrange for collection.  


Email us (hello@rebooked-hk.com) and let us know:

  • When you would like us to collect the books

  • Where you live/ where you want us to collect the books


  2. When will you collect the books?


We will do our best to accommodate your preferred collection day and time.  As a general guideline:


HK Island Eastern District – Saturdays, between 9am and 12nn

HK Island Central and Western District – Saturdays, 2pm to 5pm


For Kowloon donors, please get in touch and we will try to arrange a special collection.


  3. How will you collect the books from me?


After you get in touch with us, we will send you a confirmation email to inform you of the collection date and time.  A member of the reBooked team will personally collect the books from you.

  4. What kind of books do you accept?


We accept children’s books in English.  We also welcome young adult English books suitable for 13 years old and below. 


We ask that books donated be without:

  • Excessive mold or stains

  • Ripped or missing pages

  • Broken bindings

  • Excessive writing or highlighting in the text


  5. Will I get anything in return for donating books?


We bring all donated books to our sorting facility where our book reviewers carefully determine which books can be sold, donated or recycled. 

For every donation of a  full-sized, good condition (or better) book you will receive a HK$1 store credit which can be used to purchase books in our online bookshop.

For every 3 small books or books in fair condition you will receive a HK$1 store credit which can be used to purchase books in our online bookshop.

We will notify you of your credits after sorting the books in your donation. 



Shop Online


  1. I am interested in buying a book from your online shop.  What should I do next?


Please purchase the book(s) online and we will send you a confirmation email of your purchase.


  2. What is the condition of the books you see in your online shop?


We review the condition of each book to ensure it is readable and resellable. Book conditions include "Nearly New," "Very Good" and "Fair": 

     Nearly new - cover has very slight to no marks; inside pages are like new

     Very good - some signs of cover wear; inside pages clean with minimal to no discoloration on the edges

     Fair - cover shows more signs of wear; inside pages may have discoloration along the edges

What payment methods do you accept?


We currently have 2 payment options:

  • PayMe or HSBC transfer (we will send you our bank account details when your purchase is confirmed)

  • Cash on delivery




What are your shipment options for books that I want to buy?


You have 2 options:

  • We can send you the books by regular HK post or SF Express (postage charges to be borne by you)

  • We can trade with you in person, anywhere in HK MTR Station – Blue Line


For purchases of over 20 books, we can discuss special arrangements.  Please get in touch to inquire. 


Returns, Refunds and Exchange


Do you accept returns and refunds if I am not satisfied with my purchase?


We apologize that we are unable to accommodate returns, refunds and exchange of any purchased books.

If you are not satisfied with any of the books purchased from us, please get in touch with us right away.
